Conceived as the second chapter (after 2016's "Fernweh") of an hypothetical trilogy on the American deserts and their metaphorical wastelands, and also a wordless concept on the desert of our souls, "Twentynine Palms" sees the new collaboration between Paolo Colavita's Skag Arcade and Angelo Guido's meanwhile.in.texas.

A 6-tracks, almost 60-minutes long mastodon of crackling, outerspacey and psychedelic drone-ambient, a noisy and lisergic soundtrack for a hallucinogenic journey through the dark night of the desert, recorded between Italy and California and mastered in Switzerland by Attila Folklor (Mulo Muto / INSOMNIA ISTERICA /// L'è Tütt Folklor Records DIY).

Release #043 of the already-cult Swiss label LUCE SIA (Maurizio Bianchi, Sshe Retina Stimulants, Laxative Souls/LXSS, The Tapes, Gerstein, German Army, among the many), "Twentynine Palms" is now officially out in a limited (and very special...) numbered edition of 60 copies on black C68 cassette, coming with a multi panel insert including some photos of Twentynine Palms and the desert areas surrounding Joshua Tree, an info sheet and a sample of desert sand .
